| All of our dogs hunt...and love to hunt! We try to introduce all of our pups to birds, water, gunfire, travel and hunting conditions at an early age. You need to introduce everything slowly and in moderation so you do not create fears. Water work, retrieving, and working a field should be fun and rewarding. Not every puppy will come out of the womb pointing, so patience and practice, practice, practice. We have had some that have taken a few months to get it, and then BOOM! They are scenting and slamming points. You just have to keep training and learning yourself. |
